Healing Support for Emotional Well-Being
Trauma-Informed Yoga at Nau Choice Wellness offers a gentle, supportive space for movement that honors emotional safety, choice, and nervous system regulation.
These classes are designed to support emotional well-being by helping the body feel safer, more present, and more connected — without pressure to push, perform, or relive anything. Movement is slow, optional, and adaptable, with an emphasis on awareness rather than form.
Rather than telling the body what to do, this practice invites curiosity: noticing sensation, breath, and internal signals as they arise. This approach supports regulation, grounding, and self-trust, especially for those who have experienced stress, trauma, or overwhelm.
You are always in control of your experience. Rest, pause, or stillness are welcome at any time.

Why Trauma-Informed Yoga?

Trauma lives in the body — not just the mind. Trauma-informed yoga supports healing by helping the nervous system settle and re-establish a sense of safety and control.

This approach can support:
-
Emotional regulation
-
Stress and anxiety relief
-
Reconnection with the body
-
Building trust in internal signals
The goal is not to “fix” anything, but to create conditions where healing can happen naturally.
The Nau Choice Approach

At Nau Choice Wellness, trauma-informed yoga centers on choice, consent, and compassion.

There is no expectation to share, explain, or perform. You are invited to move — or not move — in ways that feel supportive for you.

Your body leads.
Your pace matters.
Your experience is enough.
